I’m very excited to be taking part in Bonsall Arts Trail this year and for the first time.

A biannual curated art trail with 120 artists from Derbyshire and surrounding counties, music, street food, drinks and workshops, all held in the beautiful historic village of Bonsall on the edge of the Peak District.

I’m very happy to be returning to my 2006 Degree Show work Shifting Landscape for this exhibition. and more details will follow. If you are free to come along to the launch at the Royal Derby Hospital on 18th March to see all the work on show and talk to the Air Arts team, you would be most welcome.

I'm delighted to be one of the artists participating in this years Air Arts 'Ten' art exhibition to be held across two Derby Hospitals from 21st March to a date in September.

Following the success of the Creative Approaches To Photography workshops I delivered last year at the Royal Derby Hospital, Journeys Through The Landscape will be moving from there to the walls of London Road Community Hospital, with further workshops planned in June for members of staff with an interest in photography. 

These workshops are designed primarily to develop creative picture making skills, with a focus on composition, and personal responses to subjects using natural light. It is an opportunity for colleagues to share their interest in photography, while learning different ways of looking at the landscape, in particular the Peak District, as well as developing photographic techniques.

I'm delighted to have been invited to participate in this year's Open Gardens at Kirk Ireton, near Wirksworth, Derbyshire, where a selection of my work will be available in the Village Hall throughout the weekend of 18th/19th June 1pm-5pm. I look forward to meeting you. Please follow the link for further details on the event.

Looking forward to seeing a small selection of my work back on the walls for sale at Banks Mill Studios in November for their annual Open Studios event, which is not to be missed.

Artists invite you into their studios to browse or buy their beautiful and very individual art. There are four floors with studios and corridors full of creativity and as if that weren't enough, just round the corner at the Enterprise Centre is the Artisan Fair…give yourselves a full day, and money in your pocket, you'll need it!
